Stars of the 360 Sprint Cars collide this Friday at Brewerton Speedway

By Paul T. Harkenrider (Sodus, NY) | The best that 360 Sprint Car racing has to offer will be this Friday, September 2, at the Brewerton Speedway as the stars of the Patriot Sprint Tour will take on the competitors from the Empire Super Sprints and United Racing Club.

This is the first of many challenge races that will take place this month as the three competitive organizations work together in an effort to put on a great show for the fans.

Jared Zimbardi was just crowned the Canadian Series champion this past week with his win at Brockville, and is now on pace to be crowned the American Series champion pending he is in attendance.

Paul Habeck is second in points in the American Standings followed by Dave Just, Steve Glover, and Tyler Graves. This is also the only time the Patriot Sprint Tour will be at the Brewerton Speedway. 50 Show up points will be awarded to every PST member who attempts to qualify this Friday.

In the United Racing Club, Davie Franek, of Wantage, New Jersey is the current series point leader heading into this weekend. Franek also has two wins with the Patriot Sprint Tour this season scoring victories at the Selinsgrove Speedway and the Little Valley Speedway. He leads Nine-Time- Series Champ Curt Michael, followed by Robbie Stillwagon, Josh Weller, and Troy Betts.

For the Empire Super Sprints, Jason Barney and Steve Poirier have battled for the ESS Championship all season with just a few point shows remaining. They will be joined by regulars in Paul Kinney, Matt Tanner, and Parker Evans.

Other notable drivers who are expected in attendance are Chuck Hebing, Bryan Howland, Danny Varin, Mark Smith, and many more of the best from the Northeast!
