By Paul T. Harkenrider (Sodus, NY) | After visiting tracks from all over in New York, along with facilities in Pennsylvania and Ontario, Canada. The A-Verdi Storage Containers and Mike Emhof Motorsports Patriot Sprint Tour is heading west to the Raceway 7 in Conneaut, Ohio, on Friday, June 24, and then the New Stateline Speedway in Busti, NY on Saturday, June 25.
The two races are Round No. 9 and No. 10 of the Patriot Sprint Tour American Series championship where Jared Zimbardi is still the current point leader over Dane Lorenc, Paul Habeck, Dave Just and Tyler Graves.
This is the fourth straight season the series visits the Ohio based racetrack where three different winners have made it into victory lane including Jared Zimbardi, Chuck Hebing and last year’s winner Bryan Howland.
This is the 14th time in series history that the tour makes a stop at Stateline Speedway, where ten different drivers have seen victory lane. Those winners include: Tom Taber, George Suprick, Rich Swarthout, Chuck Hebing, Bryan Howland, Blake Breen, Jared Zimbardi, Bubba Broderick, Tommy Wickham, and last year’s PST-American Series champion Sammy Reakes IV.
