Fonda up next for A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour this Saturday

By Paul T. Harkenrider (Sodus, NY) | After an exciting finish this past Friday night at the Outlaw Speedway in Dundee, New York, the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour is returning East to the historic Fonda Speedway for the second time this season.

It was an exciting and memorable finish the last time the series visited the race track as it was Stewart Friesen picking up the win over hometown favorites Danny Varin and Cory Sparks.

A very competitive field is expected this weekend with it being the only 360 Sprint Car race in New York State.

This will also be a final tune up as the series returns next month on Saturday, September 24 for the Kramer Williamson Memorial that will pay $3,073 to win and it is another PST/URC/ESS Challenge event during the fall racing season.

This is also the final stand-alone full points show for the Patriot Sprint Tour’s American Point standings. Jared Zimbardi (2213) has a strong points lead over Paul Habeck (1805), Dave Just (1776), Steve Glover (1712), and Tyler Graves (1524).

Racing starts at 7:30 with Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Modified’s are all on the racing card with the Patriot Sprint Tour.
