A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour WILL NOT Race Friday at Penn Can; Woodhull Raceway Up Next on Saturday

By Paul T. Harkenrider (Sodus, NY) | Due to scheduling conflicts, Penn Cann Speedway officials have cancelled this Friday’s racing events that included the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour.

“When we scheduled this event, we didn’t realize that it coincided with the Susquehanna Community Days in downtown Susquehanna”, said Promoter Dan Harpell.

“That is such a big event in the Community and after looking at the impact that it had on the attendance last year, we have made the decision to take the night off of racing this Friday. The Patriot Sprint Tour is a great organization and they put on a tremendous show.”

This leaves the next Patriot Sprint Tour event back to the Woodhull Raceway for the second time this season. It was Jared Zimbardi picking up his first career win at the 1/3-mile oval over Justin Barger, and Steve Collins.

All three drivers are expected to be in attendance along with other PST regulars in Paul Habeck, Dane Lorenc, Paulie Colagiovanni, Steve Glover, and Dave Just.

This Saturdays show will be a part of the PST American Tour where Jared Zimbardi has a very comfortable advantage over Paul Habeck, Dane Lorenc, Dave Just, and Steve Glover.

Gates will be opening up at 4:30 with racing set to begin at 6:30. It will be $18.00 to get into the grandstands this Saturday night at New York States Toughest Bull Ring.
