Patriot Sprint Tour Set for Syracuse Motorsports Expo

By Curtis Berleue (Sodus, NY) As the winter months start to wind down, the Patriot Sprint Tour is starting to gear up for the first event on its 2022 20th Anniversary schedule – the annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo held at the New York State Fairgrounds.

After a two-year hiatus from the effects of the COVID pandemic, the traditional kick-off of the racing season in New York state returns to the Center for Progress building at the New York State Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday March 12 and 13.

As a staple on the PST schedule, fans can once again expect to see Mike Emhof and crew set up with many cars on display and 2022 tour schedules and information on the season available.  Among cars expected to be on display are the always sharp Mucci Motorsports 98 driven by Joe Trenca and rookie 360 competitor Jordan Hutton’s new ride.

Also on display will be a car familiar with many PA Posse fans – a beautifully restored Fred Rahmer #88 Miller Bros Chevrolet car.  The J&J chassis has been restored by a name familiar to many in Central NY –  long time competitor Lee Sanders.
