(Dundee, NY) The highest paying show so far on the 2016 A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour schedule is up next this Friday, September 23.

Drivers representing states and provinces from New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ontario, and Quebec will be making the trip to the newly named Outlaw Speedway (formerly Black Rock Speedway) battling for $5,000, with $400 to start!

The A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour most recent event at Outlaw Speedway went down to the wire between 2016 Patriot Sprint Tour Series champion, Jared Zimbardi, and Selinsgrove Speedway track champion, Mark Smith where Zimbardi edged Smith by .04 seconds.

Other dark horses to keep an eye heading into Friday will be Jonathan Preston, of Romulus, New York who finished third behind Smith and Zimbardi. Also include Parker Evans from Owego, NY and Steve Glover from Rochester who have also tabbed podium finishes at Outlaw Speedway this year when the Patriot Sprint Tour was in town.

Add in drivers such as Jason Barney, Chuck Hebing, Davie Franek, Joe Trenca, Paulie Colagiovanni, Larry Kelleher, Coleman Gulick, Tommy Wickham, Dylan Westbrook, Darryl Ruggles, and you will have a very stout field all contending for the $5,000 check!

The show will be run by Patriot Sprint Tour officials, where they will race eight lap heats, which will be lined up by an open draw at the beginning of the night. As per usual, passing points will be awarded for the drivers who have the best finish from where they started. In place of a redraw for the top eight drivers in passing points, there will be a 6 lap dash that will set the grid for the first four rows. There will then be another dash for the drivers who finished in spots in 9th through 14th in passing points brought to you by Evingham Site Excavation. The drivers who finished in positions 15th- 20th, will automatically be locked in for the A Main. The remaining drivers will have to qualify through a B Main. The A-Main will be 30 laps in distance.

Racing is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. with pit gates opening up at 3:00 p.m. and grand stand gates set to open at 5:00 p.m. It is $35.00 to be admitted into the pits and $20.00 to get into the grandstands. Senior Citizens grandstand price is $18.00 while kids 12 and under are free!

Also on the racing card this Friday are Crate Sportsman, IMCA Modified’s, Street Stocks, and 4 Cylinders!
