Racing returns to Ransomville this Friday for the Patriot Sprint Tour

(Ransomville, NY) The A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour will return to the Big R this Friday night for the second time this season. Fridays event will also be a part of the 2016 PST- American points championship.
The series’ first visit to Ransomville was back on June 3rd when Chuck Hebing scored his only Patriot Sprint Tour victory of the season over Ryan Susice and Jared Zimbardi.
Jared Zimbardi is the current point leader heading into this Friday night over second place driver Paul Habeck. Dave Just currently sits third followed by Steve Glover, and Dane Lorenc rounding out the top five.
With nearby Ohsweken Speedway off this Friday, a competitive field of both PST American and Canadian series competitors is expected. Look for PST Canadian competitors Jake and Mitch Brown, Dylan Westbrook, the three Team Turner mounts taking on the likes of Jared Zimbardi, Paul Habeck, the returning Kyle Drum along with Ransomville’s own Dave and Scott Just.
Ransomville Speedway is a semi banked ½ mile oval in the North Western Part of New York State and where they race DIRTcar Modified’s, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Four Cylinders and Novice Sportsman. It will be a regular program this coming Friday with the exception of the Modified’s as they will have the night off.
