(Ohsweken, ON) The A-Verdi Storage Containers and Mike Emhof Motorsports Patriot Sprint Tour will be heading to the Ohsweken Speedway this Friday, June 10 for the first of three appearances on the 2016 calendar. The following night, the series will head to the Woodhull Raceway to make up a May 14 washed out race.

This Friday’s points at Ohsweken will go towards the PST Canadian Tour. The first Canadian Series race was run back on April 23 when Jason Barney picked up the win over Jared Zimbardi and Mitch Brown.

This will be the 28th race for the Patriot Sprint Tour at the ‘Big O,’. However, this will be the only full points show the series will be running this season as the other two events will be part of the $12,000 to win Canadian Sprint Car Nationals coming up this September.

Jared Zimbardi has won the last two point events at Ohsweken and looks to make it three in a row against the weekly regulars such as Jake and Mitch Brown, Cory Turner, and Dain Naida.

This will be the 16th time in series history that the Patriot Sprint Tour will be traveling to the tight bull ring of the Woodhull Raceway. Justin Barger, of Montrose, New York won the most recent event back on July 25 and will look to continue his momentum this Saturday. Other past winners who are expected to be in attendance are Bryan Howland and Chuck Hebing. They will be joined by many series regulars including Dane Lorenc, Steve Glover, Paul Habeck and Tyler Graves.

Gates, this Friday at Ohsweken, will be opening up at 6:00, with racing set to start at 7:30. Gates for Woodhull on Saturday will be opening at 4:30 and racing starts at 6:30.

Friday’s show at Ohsweken will be presented by Fine Touch Collision of London, Ontario and Saturday’s show at Woodhull Raceway will be presented by Evingham Site Excavation of Bolivar, New York.
