Rich Vleck, ROCHESTER, NY, (June 4, 2014)- After a pair of doubleheader weekends out west, the Patriot Sprint Tour to two original tour stops for a pair of the most highly-anticipated shows of the season.

On Friday Night, the PST makes its first of two visits of 2014 to the Ransomville Speedway before travelling down the thruway Saturday for a return trip to the high-banked Fulton Speedway.  A-Verdi Storage Containers will help sponsor the action Saturday Night at Fulton while their night at Ransomville is in August.  The Just Racing Team has helped to make this trip to Niagara County possible.

The tough 4/10-mile high-banked Ransomville oval requires precise driving to go along with a well-handling race car in order to succeed.

Fresh of his first PST win of the year, defending PST Champion Jared Zimbardi rolls in to “The Big R” with a commanding point lead.  “The Juice” scored his second-career 360 win at Ransomville back in 2007.

Paige Polyak sits second in series standings and will make her first trip to Ransomville.  Former modified and micro sprint competitor Scott Kreutter, of Alden, NY is the only PST America Champion to never win in a PST event at Ransomville but would love to thrill fans at the track closest to his home.

There will be plenty of local flavor for this event, with Dave and Scott Just representing the town of Ransomville. The second year sprint car shoes would be joined by Don Adamczyk of Williamsville, Derek Jonathan of Lewiston, Jeremy Barnard of Albion and rookie Dane Lorenc of Lancaster.

Stewart Friesen has also announced his plans to compete this Friday.  Friesen won at his family’s facility in the 2010 PST event.

Saturday’s trip to Fulton has been one circled by many drivers who have made some big trips to race early this year.  Four-time series Champion Bryan Howland, of Auburn, NY, is a major part of this group, as he returns to a track he has won at on multiple occasions.

Some time series regulars have made limited or no starts at all at Fulton.  This includes Steve Collins, who has ran just once on the 3/8-mile oval.  Collins came close to his first win at Mercer Saturday and will be primed up for a chance at retribution. The Just team, Parker Evans, Clint Ide and Tyler Graves will also be relative newcomers.

A slew of local drivers are also expected, plus others invading the tour and the area.

Ransomville Speedway is located on Braley Rd just North of Ransomville and Rt. 93.  Pit gates swing open at 5:00 P.M., with racing getting underway at 7:15 P.M.   Please keep in mind that no child under 12 years of age is permitted in the pits and those near that age should be prepared to provide proper age identification. Those ages 12-17 will need a parent to sign the insurance waiver for them to receive enterance.

Fulton is located just south of the town on Rt. 57, with gates opening at 5:00 as well at Fulton, with racing starting at 7:00 P.M. For more information, be sure to visit www.PatriotSprintTour.com.
