Rain Moves Patriot Sprint Tour Event at Woodhull to August 17th
Rich Vleck, WOODHULL, NY, (July 27, 2013)- A highly-anticipated and lucrative-paying event for the Patriot Sprint Tour at Woodhull Raceway will have to wait three weeks later to be run.
Despite the best efforts by Woodhull Raceway and Patriot Sprint Tour management to run the $2,500-to-win event as schedule, intermittent rain turned into an all-out deluge just after the conclusion of the driver’s meeting. The good news is that the event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 17th. This event will be open to any competitors, even if they were not on hand on Saturday.
An impressive 23 cars were in the pits at the time of the cancellation, including four that were not in competition the night before at Clinton County.
