Patriot Sprint Tour Rained Out at Fulton

Rich Vleck, FULTON, NY (June 11, 2011)- The wet weather that has plagued the Northeast for much of this spring followed the Patriot Sprint Tour again this past Saturday, knocking out the show at Fulton Speedway.
With 32 sprints in the pits, a persistent shower hit the 4/10-mile oval and with more rain likely, the track management team decided to cancel the event. Just about an hour after the cancellation was announced, the rain returned and would reappear in Oswego County numerous times over the rest of the night.
No make-up event has been determined at this time. In the meantime, the PST will turn its focus to next Saturday’s event at Merrittville Speedway for the first race in the 2011 PST Canadian Campaign.
