Patriot Sprint Tour Event Rained Out at Ransomville

Rich Vleck, ROCHESTER, NY (May 27, 2011)- One of the wettest seasons in Upstate New York history continues into the summer kickoff weekend as the Patriot Sprint Tour event at Ransomville Speedway has been postponed due to rain.

 

Saturated grounds and a wet morning forced the officials at the Friesen-owned facility into cancelling what was staged to be a massive event.

 

A possible rain date is in the works and is expected to be announced in the coming days.

 

The weekend is not over for the PST, as action continues Saturday at Stateline Speedway and Sunday at Eriez Speedway.
